Yes, Richard Starkey was born this day Jun 7, 1940. That makes him 70 years old!!

I wonder what his parents thought of him while he was growing up? Like any good parents they would have been proud of him and supported him in any way that they could.

Ringo Starr was the beat of the Beatles. Sure there was John, Paul, George, but Ringo was their support structure. I remember when I saw the Beatles in Toronto in 1965. I couldn’t even hear them at that time because of all the screaming. Anyway, that was a long time ago. But, I will never forget how Ringo kept the band on track even while they were surrounded by screaming fans.

Since that day in 1965, I have followed the Beatles and have grown to really admire their work. They took great pride in what they were doing as well as created endless musical songs and lyrics for all the world to enjoy.

I dropped into a friends house the other day and I happened to notice that his teenage son had Beatles posters all over his walls and an extensive musical collection.

What have you planned for your legacy?

Will you be leaving something of value behind for the world to enjoy?

I have thought long and hard about this and it will probably be the most enjoyable accomplishment in my lifetime.

Although it hasn’t happened yet. I am getting closer day by day.

But I do know someone that is leaving a legacy in the information marketing world right now!
